Alerts and Notifications
The East Larimer County Water District uses a third party notification system to send emergency and routine alerts and notifications.
Examples of messages sent through the CivicPlus Mass Notification System:
- Emergency Notifications
- Holiday and Office Closure Notifications
- Maintenance Notifications and Scheduled Shut Downs
You can register to subscribe by following the steps below.
By signing up for the alerts and notifications Resident portal, you are able to customize which notifications you would like to receive. ELCO sends general (non-emergency) notifications as well as emergency notifications. Subscribers can register to receive emergency alerts via phone calls, text messages, and/or email. Non-emergency messages will be sent by text and/or email. These alerts are provided free of charge; however standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
1. Go to https://portal.civicplus.com/CO-EastLarimerCountyWaterDistrict/notifications?tab=alerts
2. Click Sign In

3. Click on Sign Up

4. Complete the sign up form to subscribe
5. Make notification selections
6. Click Sign Me Up
7. Please make sure you confirm your account to ensure you are receiving notifications
You may also simply text 38276 to receive emergency notification text messages.
Please note, if you only text to subscribe, you will only receive emergency notifications. If you would like to receive general notifications including, but not limited to holiday and office closure notifications, you will need to create a Resident Portal in the steps listed above.
